Jaron of The Long Road to Love Talks About His Jewish Heritage

Jaron of Jaron and the Long Road to Love once had a policy of never playing on Friday nights as part of his Jewish heritage. Now he's let that rule go by the wayside, and he tells Entertainment Weekly, "Some of my Jewish fans are mad, but to me right now that's not authentic to me." Jaron may go back to observing the Jewish Sabbath on Friday nights at some point, but he isn't leaving his religion behind. He adds, "I'm a prideful Jew. I love my heritage." Jaron's playing shows this Friday, July 30th, and Saturday night, July 31st, in California with Toby Keith.
