Lee Brice Inspired by Mom's Church Solos on "Love Like Crazy"

Lee Brice is enjoying his first top-10 hit as an artist with "Love Like Crazy," and you may have noticed how Lee whispers a part of the chorus instead of singing it. That vocal style comes from listening to his mom singing solos in church. Lee tells us, "If she felt led that she needed to really get that point across of the song and it didn't need to be sang and she needed to speak it to you, even with the music playing in the background, she would." Lee adds, "That was more important to her, getting the message across rather than singing it perfectly."

The fans seem to like Lee's singing and his speaking. "Love Like Crazy" is the title cut from his debut album, available everywhere now.
